This split allready got a 'Creative Engineering Rack and Pinion Steering' mounted by Aircooled.nl but it's now also rollin' fast since we "upgraded" this bus by a nice lowering job and a 1915cc engine!

US of A rides arrived in Deventer!

Look what arrived in Deventer yesterday!!

A solid '65 split bus and a flat black '56 oval ragtop with double carbs, 1600cc engine and on full (4 wheel) air-ride! (fyi: the oval is allready sold!).

...some propper lowering and narrowing that is!

Amsterdam - Dakar Challenge 2008 UPDATE

Aircooled.nl will help team "HABERS ADVENTURE" with their Amsterdam - Dakar Challenge 2008!

Mark and Henk Habers are going to drive their beetle all the way to Dakar! Aircooled.nl is proud to sponsor these guys!

On saturday, November 8 at 11:00 pm the second group of the jubilee edition of the Amsterdam Dakar Challenge started ther journey. The 30 teams, with 3 million euros already on the counter for charity, are ready to do their shair! The teams started between 9:00-11:00 at Blijburg aan Zee in Amsterdam.

As you can see the beetle (with Aircooled.nl logo's) even made it in the newspapers!

Patrick's bug in progress

Patrick is working on his own late model bug at the Aircooled.nl Garage.

At this moment the wiring is almost 100% done and Patrick is working on the interior.
This bug is gonna roll on Fuchs and will be ready in '09... at least that's the plan.

Roy's '56 is taking shape

Roy did some work on his oval project again. One fender mounted and fits just perfect, the engine is in but stil a lot of work to do. Keep your eyes on this beauty!!

Roy's engine is in!

After testing the engine where everything turned out good we placed the engine in Roy's '56 oval last week!

Meanwhile, the electricity was also connected and we can go on with the rest of the build!
